1, Rochester Park - 18 March

had a romantic night with the usual gang two weeks back .

by the way, our usual gang is getting bigger with newbies and i'm glad that everyone is enjoying themselves. pple who went include bro, flo, mag, dajie, xiaomei, alliance, uncle, gaurav, reginia, charlene, mel, steph and me of cosh. the onli person missing out the fun is our dubai ambassador, Chris.

after steamboat dinner at Golden Mile basement 1, i bought the gang to Rochester Park for drinking and chit chatting session, somewhere opposite MOE at Buona Vista area.

i fell in luv wif dis place when i came across it over telly at Channel U, "Hao Chi Wang" hosted by Adrian and Berlinda. n indeed it was beautiful ! proven my taste right! my usual gang loved it as well ! hehe

this chill out place is actually a big bungalow transformed into a pub-like corner. most of the customers are ard the late 20s to 30s working adults. the bungalow is white in colour, two storeys, has a long balcony on the 2nd level and many cosy corners spreaded all around. but the best part is tat it has a beautiful landscape right in front of the bungalow and it is almost like going to night safari with pavilions, low waterfalls... except that there is no animals ard hehe... very balinese plus indonesian style. the sofas and seats are those dark rosy wooden type... also, they hav fans all ard to keep cool and they are all hidden up so well that you wouldnt even have took notice.

at first, we couldnt find a seat when we reached there as we are a big grp of 13pax but i guess lady luck always befalls upon us cos awhile later, the owner managed to get us a cosy corner after another grp went off just at the same time hehe. although it's kinda cramp wif so mani of us, we still enjoy ourselves much under the moonlight, natural setting, soft jazz music and laughters as usual. by the way, this place does not take in reservation during wkends.

again, i was being forced by bro to drink alcohol...hai...sinful! haha! i dun used to drink at all cos i hated the bitter taste of alcohol until noeing usual gang, i din even hav a choice to choose loh... poor life i've got right?
drank a drink named Flaming Beetle with fire on it. the taste is very strong and pungent when it goes down ur throat... reali felt like burning initially but after awhile, it's okie ler. but still, din reali like it tat much lah... the taste is abit weird... dono how to describe... jus dun try nxt time lah ok haha

after which, we went down to a coffee shop in clementi where the mee pok was deemed to be very famous and we had our supper there. went home at ard 1am which is considered to be the earliest session among all our hangouts but everyone is also very tired already then.

reali luv such gatherings esp when the enviroment is beautiful... brightens up my day alot too...
