04 Feb 2006 CNY Ren Ri @ Roger's house

had a fun celebration at roger's house this CNY. the gathering was arranged on the 7th day which means Ren Ri - everyone's birthday. at the same time we also celebrated flo's bdae too. the pple who attended were dajie, xiaomei, steph, mel, alliance, chris, mag, jessica, andrew , reginia and me. when i woke up in the afternoon, i rushed down to orchard to buy flo's gift den rush all the way back to punggol plaza koufu for the yusheng reunion dinner with bro, flo, mag, mel and steph. den we proceeded to bro's house, first to bai nian (look at the cute ang baos bro had prepared! haha!) , den to play bingo and black jack. guess the big winner for the night is xiaomei haha! won enough to take cab back and i was the biggest loser but lucki my house is just nearby... so can walk home la hee! =P

was glad flo like the bag which i've bought frm Tomato Can... tink it suits her well. also bought a veri cute bdae card with bear bear de so all of us choose 1 bear and signed our name above it. the cake wise... not reali fantastic... kinda weird with the different fruits combi. but nvm la cos u nv try u'll nv noe ma hee.

we stayed at bro's house until say 3am... then bcos i was still veri hyperactive so pulled the few of us who are still around and awake like chris, sean, mag, jas and me to go jalan kayu for kopi session until 5am in the morn haha! i noe we're crazy yet i still enjoy lahz hee!

had celebrated v.dae this year in a v. fun and cosy way... with my TMIS mates which include dajie, xiaomei, uncle, reginia, meiyen, meiyen's parents, jennifer, charlene and also with bro , flo, mag and alliance... 14 pax altogether whew!

besides meiyen's parents, bro and flo, i guess this is perhaps the largest singles outing which we have arranged for on v.dae. although there is no chocolates or flowers, we were happily chit chatting and gorging down food from the Awon Korean Restaurant at Excelsoir Hotel 4th Level. we were laughing hysterically over the dining table and i've bought a small small v.dae gift for eveyone. it's a hp strap which comes in either yellow color, red color or blue color. after which a few of us proceeded to The Crew Room - a karaoke pub along Prinsep street. it was opened by one of jenn's crew fren therefore when we managed to get the attic space which separated frm the rest of the customers... the ambience was fantastic. haha

v.dae is a day for expression of love and same goes for friendship. there's nutink to be sad abt being single... u jus hav to noe hw to make the fullest use of everyday and life could be just as beautiful... even if it's just a simple dinner or over a cuppa coffee session to chit chat... it could brighten up the day too! at least it does for me hee! now i'm so used to meeting out the "usual" group (you all know who you are huh haha) that it kinda feel weird w/o seeing them on friday or saturday nights. no matter how tired we are or how far it takes, we have never fail to meet out at least once a week so far. i like this kinda feeling... a moment set aside in a week to keep in contact with each other. it's difficult to describe this kinda feeling... cos it's mutual and simple, w/o any commitment yet everyone will make an effort to realise it. frm goin to Quality Hotel for taiwan porridge, to Changi Airport and played Risk, to Chinatown for CNY last min. cheap grabs, to Shangri-La Hotel for their signature lemonade (recommended by bro), to jalan kayu for prata, to Esplanade for late supper and sittin infront of the Marina to chit chat heart to heart.... the list just continues on... so much memories created in just a blink of eyes yet all these memories will stay with us for a long long time... i strongly believe so! although i noe someday all of us will go separate ways.... but from now till then, let us cherish every moment together cos time flies w/o one knowing and once time is gone, it will never come back : )
